Marked tourist circuits around the city

You can visit 3 marked circuits - Queen Eliška Circuit, St. Vitus Circuit and the St. James Circuit. Tthe starting point for all of them is the information centre, where you will also get a detailed map of each circuit.

Queen Eliška Tourist Circuit. Queen Eliška Tourist Circuit will guide you through the most interesting places and sights in the centre of Jemnice. The marked circuit begins at the tourist information centre, from where it goes through the castle to the Jewish quarter. Next around the bastion and the fortification to the Little Gate. Through the gate you can reach the city centre at náměstí Svobody (Svoboda Square), where you can find the church of St. Stanislas and Jemnice Museum. From the city centre through Husova Street you will go back to the information centre. Circuit length: 1.4 km. Circuit marking: white arrow on the blue background. St. Vitus Tourist Circuit begins at the tourist information centre, from where it passes through the chateau park to the church of St. Vitus with a memorial lime tree and underground spaces. It follows the line of the medieval water supply to Little Gate. The way from the Little Gate to the information centre is common for the St. Vitus, St. James and Queen Eliska Circuits. Circuit length: 2.4 km Circuit marking: white arrow on the red background. St. Jacob Tourist Circuit. As the name suggests, the third tourist circuit will take you to the church of St. Jacob, located in the oldest part of Jemnice, called Podolí. This circuit begins at the tourist information centre. On your way you will get to the Jewish cemetery, the church of St. Jakub, you will pass through Podolí, encounter the former hospital and the bell tower and eventually get to the link of all three circuits - Little Gate.
